Fishery Rules

Our rules exist to safeguard our fish stocks and ensure that you have an enjoyable visit to Warwick Wold Waters. Please read these rules carefully before you fish, as failure to observe the rules or acting in any way which interferes with others’ enjoyment or use of the lakes, will result in the offender being immediately removed and banned from the fishery.

You are reminded that you should be in possession of a valid EA Rod License before starting to fish. You cannot purchase these onsite so please be in possession before entering the fishery.

The Rules:

  • Day Tickets must be purchased before commencing fishing.
  • There is no access to the fishery before the arrival of the bailiff, please refer to the fishery’s opening times.
  • Please drive on the road and not on the grass. Please also use the car parks or alternatively park on the road near to your swim keeping at least two wheels on the road.
  • Access is only permitted to the public areas; please do not climb gates or trespass into nearby land.
  • Fish only from the swims provided, please do not fish between the swims.
  • We will provide you with a landing net to use. Please bring your own handle. If you do not own a separate handle these can be purchased in the Fishery shop. Anybody found to be using their own landing net will be asked to leave the Fishery.
  • All fish must be returned to the water as soon as possible. Keepnets can only be used in authorised matches. Again, we will provide the keepnets.

  • Do not light any fires or use BBQ's. Hot food and hot and cold drinks are available in the clubhouse.
  • Ladies and Gents Toilets are available at the clubhouse - please use them.
